תחזרו על הפעלים (V1) למטה מתוך השיר וכן לשון העבר (V2) של כל פועל.

Review the verbs (V1) below from the song and the past form of the verbs (V2) .

Stage 2

Great! Now make new sentences in the past tense with the verbs we just learned from the song using the positive and the negative form just like we heard in the song.

I shot the sherif, but I didn’t shoot the deputy.

שימו לב: בשלילה (didn’t) – הפועל תמיד חוזר לשורש שלו (V1) shoot .

Note: In the negative (didn’t), the verb always returns to its base form (V1) shoot.
